We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Supervisor of Products & Services.

Job Description:

As the Supervisor of Products & Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage various aspects of our products and services. This includes managing purchases of materials, conducting quality assurance checks on both materials and finished goods, supervising part-time staff, handling order fulfillment, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting customers with in-store consultations and purchases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchases of materials: Work closely with suppliers to procure high-quality materials required for crafting our handmade rosaries and home altars. Maintain an inventory system to track and reorder materials as necessary.
  • Quality assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of materials received and finished goods to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. Identify any defects or issues and collaborate with the production team to address them promptly.
  • Supervise part-time staff: Provide guidance, support, and training to a team of part-time employees. Create work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure efficient use of resources. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
  • Order fulfillment: Oversee the process of packaging and shipping customer orders accurately and on time. Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order-related issues that may arise.
  • Customer service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, assisting customers with product selection, and resolving any concerns or complaints. Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the store.
  • In-store consultations and purchases: Offer guidance and expertise to customers who visit our store seeking assistance with selecting the right rosaries or home altars. Provide knowledgeable recommendations and ensure a personalized shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or coursework is a plus)
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and part-time staff
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management systems or point-of-sale software
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Catholic traditions, rosaries, and home altars is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
