Known for its rich symbolism and spiritual significance, the medal depicts St. Benedict with his traditional symbols—a book, cross, raven, and chalice. Latin phrases such as “Crux S. Patris Benedicti” (The Cross of Our Holy Father Benedict.) and “Eius in obitu nostro praesentia muniamur” (May we be strengthened by his presence in the hour of our death.) are inscribed, adding to its sacredness. 

The other side includes powerful prayers like "CSSML NDSMD" (May the Holy Cross be my light! May the dragon never be my guide!) and "VRSNSMV SMQLIVB" (Begone Satan! Never tempt me with your vanities). When blessed, this medal serves as a spiritual armor!
