Recommendations: I would suppose more carving on the base or perhaps working out a combination with a company selling diptychs. But I have no complaints.
It is precisely what was promised

The product is a simple travel “altar” that one could put on a dresser or desk in a hotel or the like. That is what it is. It has a nicely finished wood base, a slot to hold an illustrated prayer card, and a crucifix. Simple. Lovely. Right for that function. When you get what you thought you were ordering, one is well pleased.

Great texture and Intricate Art!

As always, I've not been disappointed with any product from The Catholic Woodworker, and this product is no different! The cards are large enough for an easy read, but small enough to fit nicely on prayer card holders. I also recommend if you are considering purchasing this set of cards to add a couple of their prayer card holders, which are also made well! Overall, it's a 5/5 for me on this card set.
