Recommendations: Nothing on the Rosary. However, the leather pouch I purchased, I felt was too small. It is still being used for another Rosary. Also, if you could show more examples of the medals and what they look like when added to the Rosary, that would be helpful.

Built for use (by the son of a Carpenter)

I purchased this Rosary as a backup while I had my primary Rosary repaired. It's name "The Carpenter's Son" caught my attention, as well as the center piece & St. Benedict crucifix. I was leary of my order, due to the price. However, once I recieved it all my concerns were alleviated. This is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, that in intended to be used. It is not a piece of jewelry or a mirror hanger for the car. If you are considering a new addition for your spiritual toolbox, then please consider this model or any of the others from The Catholic Woodworker.

Impeccable Craftsmanship That Will Make You Want To Pray More Often

As a lifelong Catholic who is struggling, to say the least, to keep up with my prayer life, I needed something to rekindle my commitment to prayer. I knew the rosary was the key to that. This rosary was fitting because I am the son of a carpenter, which I share with our Lord. I knew it was going to be high quality and I was not disappointed. We invest in high quality items in every facet of our lives, but I realized I have never done that when it relates to my religious life. This is the first of many of those investments I will make and has helped me sit down to pray the rosary more than ever before.

Love this rosary! Feels very sturdy and the cord leaves a good amount or room for beads to slide. Not too long or short.
