Armor of God Rosary

Inspired by the powerful call of Ephesians 6 and the enduring message of Bishop Olmstead’s Into the Breach, the Armor of God Rosary is a tribute to the spiritual battle every man is called to fight—and the strength God provides to stand firm.

Over the past decade, a renewed movement has stirred in the hearts of men: a willingness to step into the breach, to embrace spiritual warfare, and to live with purpose. Rooted in St. Paul’s exhortation to “put on the whole armor of God,” this rosary reflects that mission—a call to truth, righteousness, faith, and perseverance.

It was within this movement—born from Into the Breach and the reality of spiritual warfare—that The Catholic Woodworker itself was formed. Out of a recognition that men are called not to passivity but to battle, this work began: crafting sacramentals that serve as daily reminders to fight well, pray deeply, and lead courageously.

Forged in the spirit of brotherhood and formation, the Armor of God Rosary draws direct inspiration from the men of All Saints Parish, the mission of the E6 Men’s Conference in St. Leon, Indiana, and the countless lives transformed through these gatherings. It is a reminder of friendships built, faith strengthened, and the call to holiness lived out in real, tangible ways.

Each element points back to the armor described in Scripture:

• The belt of truth and breastplate of righteousness
• The shield of faith to extinguish doubt and fear
• The helmet of salvation guarding the mind
• And the sword of the Spirit—the Word of God—carried into daily battle

This is more than a rosary—it is a weapon for prayer, a symbol of resolve, and a daily call to stand firm against the darkness.

Included with each rosary is a navy blue burlap pouch for protection. Our rosaries measure approximately 17-18 inches in circumference and do not generally fit over an adult's head.
