Our Lady of Guadalupe did not simply appear. She spoke, in a language her people understood, and in doing so opened the door to Christ for an entire continent. More Than an Apparition

We believe Our Lady of Guadalupe is one of the clearest examples in Church history of what happens when the Blessed Mother steps into a moment of need. In December of 1531, only a decade after the fall of the Aztec empire, she appeared to a native convert named Juan Diego on a hill outside Mexico City. She spoke to him in his own tongue, called herself the Mother of the true God, and asked for a church to be built in her honor. What followed was one of the most remarkable waves of conversion in the history of the Americas, and an image that has never been fully explained by the science that has studied it since.

This series exists because that story deserves more than a feast day mention. Every Mission Rosary we build is paired with a deep dive into the saint or apparition behind it, because we believe a rosary means more once you know the story it carries. This one carries the story of a Mother who crossed a cultural and spiritual divide to bring her people to her Son.

Why We Built This Series

The Mission Rosary collection exists because we believe a rosary should carry more than beads and a crucifix. It should carry a story that shapes how you pray. The Refuge of Sinners Rosary

The Our Father beads are ten millimeter African Turquoise, chosen for the blue and green tones that echo Our Lady’s mantle and the hills of Tepeyac. The Hail Mary beads are eight millimeter Madre de Cacao wood, warm and grounded. At the center sits an antique copper Immaculate Heart of Mary medal, an original design of ours, joined to an antique copper Pardon Crucifix. The whole rosary is hand tied on acid brown 95 paracord, built to last for generations, and ships in a navy blue burlap pouch.
