What do you love most about what you do here?

What I love most about working at The Catholic Woodworker is that it's not simply beads, centerpieces, and crucifixes. Nor do I merely love what I do here because it is my preference to be able to work both with my hands and on the computer (though this certainly helps). Rather, what I love most about what I do here is the fact that I am blessed to be a part of an apostolate which brings others to Jesus through Mary by means of the rosary, as the rosary has been for me the most important devotion to my spiritual life. Because of this, it is my hope and prayer to bring many others to ever greater knowledge, love, and understanding of the mysteries of our Catholic faith through the rosary.

What’s a fun or surprising fact about you?

I was born on the same day as when St. Pope John Paul II released his apostolic letter "Rosarium Virginis Mariae" which is all about the rosary, and where he introduced the Luminous Mysteries for our meditation and contemplation. Furthermore, I have had the pleasure of re-discovering over the years that this date is shared by St. Maximilian Kolbe's founding of the Militia Immaculata in 1917 and is also the birthday of St. Maria Goretti - the patron saint of my home parish.

What hobbies, interests, or talents do you enjoy outside of work?

I enjoy learning more about the Catholic faith, principally through the rosary and the bible. I also enjoy working on miscellaneous coding projects from time to time, and enjoy outdoor-related activities to experience the glory of God's creation.
